We came to Revelstoke for a weekend of mountain biking and as one who loves cooking it's always a challenge to find a great restaurant that doesn't leave you feeling like you overpaid for something mediocre. Coming from the Okanagan we recognized that the wine menu had been carefully selected with some great finds. The menu also had some unique options that made it hard to choose. The food was delicious and the story of an old school turned eatery was all part of a great experience. As one who owns a small business that relies on Google reviews this place earned my 5 stars. We will be sure to come back again next time!

Great historical place. It's actually former school building. Be ready to catch the smell of old brick building. Nice menu, great beer. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer.

My boyfriend and I are visiting Revelstoke and this place came up on our Google search and we were not disappointed; the food was absolutely amazing. The bill times for food were extremely quick and everything came out fresh and hot. We had the NY steak and the ribs and both were cooked wonderfully. The calamari was not the tempura style but rather pan fried. The capers in the calamari were amazing. The Caesar’s were very good with an awesome rim. My boyfriend enjoyed his whisky sour and they had a nice variety of other standard cocktails. Would recommend to anyone else visiting Revelstoke! Our waitress Mad V was great!

Passed thru Revelstoke from Banff. Exceeded our expectation! A nice western eatery with a good selection of Asian food as well.

A gem in Revelstoke. The food was fresh and understated. One might expect their modern menu items to be generic with the only flavour to be salt, but instead of overusing salt the flavours come through with freshness and individuality. A taste of fresh herbs and seasoning without being overpowering. They also serve a range of cocktails, whiskey and on tap rotating beers for those who partake. The unique setting inside an "old school" sandwiched in between the beautiful Rocky Mountains and the Columbia River. If you only get one meal in Revelstoke, then the Old School Eatery is a worthy choice.

The servers were friendly, very attentive. Cocktails were good. Food was very good. Shrimp cocktail, burger and Thai salad were all very good. We stay at Revelstoke a couple of times a year so we will be back.
